| About myself |
Out & Proud (FTM)Trans ManMusic: Catholic tastes - though I only like the best, but it would be the best of most any type of music (even rap). I love opera, Mozart particularly, also Kurt Weill, and Gershwin - boh of whom have written damn good operas. I like soul, my star singer is Arethra Franklin, and almost any rock or pop that moves me: Boy Bands, Leonard Cohen, Diana Ross, Lou Reed (saw the Berlin show and fell madly head over heels again), and so many more, it is impossible to tell all. And I love Philip Glass. My MP3 collection is wild and varied in other words.TV: I don't watch it much - I gave it up in the 1980s after Dallas, and when I started evening classes to become a lawyer.Books: Anything which tells me more about the human psyche. My favourite of all time is John Irvine's 'The World according to Garp' but many other great books have followed. I am currently reading R.J.Ellory and James Lee Burke.Sports: Oh dear I gave them up a long time ago - but stilllove watching women's cricket and hockey.Interests: Reading, Opera, Current Affairs, Gardening, the Law, and money (though I never have any).Movies: Favourite: Electra Glide in Blue, 2nd Favourite: Cabaret; 3rd Favourite: The tin drum - and I could go on and on. I love film, the bigger the project, the longer and more complex the story the better.BestFeatures: My smile. My hairy chest.Dreams: Rare when sleeping, when awake: to keep my family safe and happy, and well loved. I have reached the pinnacle of my career with nowhere to go - but it is OK, they pay me well, and the job is both amazingly interesting and mazingly flexible.
