| About myself |
I aim to be positive, happy and content. It's a continual quest but a worthy journey. I'm not here for pervy stuff, just friendship. I'm not bored with my life (only the boring get bored) and I'm not looking for a husband. And no sleaze or cheese, Please, thanks :o) A final note-(kinda on the subject of sleaze n cheese etc) I don't ever use a webcam with people I don't know, only close friends and family, I think you get my drift here? Or maybe not? I'll spell it out- Cyber sex is icky and eeew and faintly ridiculous and awfuly tragic, that's my opinion. Also I don't give out my msn to random strangers on the net, you can't be too careful now can you? Of course, the people that want to msn and cam you the minute you say hi back are usualy not likely to bother reading this far down a persons profile, *sigh* In my experience they don't *another sigh*. So many sleazy gits out there. I could say I'm disillusioned but I'm not as I'm only here for friendship and I know there are plenty of decent, straight talking and honest peeps in the world, just like me, a born again optimist. A final, final(honest) note-If you've got this far you can't be half bad, how are you? :0)Music: Lots and lots and lots..not a huge fan of jazz. Like rock and indie mainly. Am a ukulele/guitar player, it's fun :0)TV: Supernatural and just about everything on the comedy channels. Peep Show, Black Books, Father Ted. Doctor Who and Sherlock Holmes when they're on. Ooooh and I'm getting in to Primeval now it's back on. I'm a bit of a geek really...:0).Oh and you can't beat a bit of Eastenders and to keep it Scottish-River City. That's about it for now.....Books: Have just finished- The Life of Pi by Yann Martel, amazing and uplifting book, full of wisdom and a cracking story. Now reading-The Stars' Tennis Balls by Stephen Fry...I love that man he's so damn clever. Now I'm on Midnight's Children, Salman Rushdie-really need your wits about you for this one, its going to take me a while....Sports: What is...sport?Interests: Music (ukulele/guitar and bad singing), film, books, voluntary work, catching up with friends, a bit of sailing, walking the dog etc etc etcMovies: So many films so little time but my top 20 includes-Slumdog Millionare, Oh Brother Where Art thou and of course The Shawshank Redemption. Pan's Labyrinth, K-Pax...the list really does go on and on....BestFeatures: Hmmm not too great on bigging myself up but I reckon I'm a pretty decent, honest sort and fairly easy on the eye...:0)Dreams: My biggest dream that my 2 boys live a long, happy and healthy life and then it's to see India....then maybe as much of South America as I can manage. Then there's world peace and an end to poverty, injustice and cruelty, a cure for cancer. I dream alot...
